Elf on the Shelf

So, we have an "elf on the shelf" -- an elf that sits on your shelf and "watches" the children to make sure they are being good. Every night the elf reports back to Santa on how well the children have behaved.

So many pumpkins.. so little time.. Jules took a really long time to pick just the right pumpkin.. at the end, we were yelling at her... "Jules, just pick a pumpkin!!".. Now, I know how Nick felt every year when we went to pick out our Christmas tree. Poor guy.

Waiting for Dad...

On Saturday, I tried to kill some time with the kids while Nick watched the end of the Ohio State game in a nearby sports bar. As usual, they found a way to entertain themselves. (they were pretending the sidewalk signs were their houses.. )

Toy Story in 3D!

So, I took the kids to see Toy Story in 3D yesterday. They sure had fun with the 3D glasses. : )
